This is my first BBH off the plant and it's a whopper. Also a couple pictures of BBH, Japan Tomato Tree and a cluster of Kellogs West Virginia. I took the last two pictures inside and outside in the sunlight so you can see the diffeence in color rendition. Ami

Most of my material that I obtained from Brad Gates in 2007 is just now ripening up. I made a special effort to select the most bizarre types of out crosses showing up in his grow outs last year. I took pictures of all the 50 or more kinds that I selected. I noted flavor so that I could use this localized flavor component in future lines. I will try to take pictures of the new and existing types as I go. Since I need L.B. resistance here, that is part of my plan.
Since Green Zebra is in the pedigree and many unknowns in successive waves of outcrossing with Brad's material, I am attempting to recombine his material of the broadest scope with careful pedigree crossings. In naming some of his most unusual types are Heartless Stripe and [FONT=Arial][SIZE=5][B][U]Scrofa. [/U][/B][/SIZE][/FONT] |
