how to freeze rhubarb?

I've never tried this but would like to. Can I just cut and freeze, should I blanch, should I cook completely and freeze?

Thanks for the help.

I've always just chopped it to the size I want (for pies!) and frozen it in freezer bags.

I do it the same way as Sherry but use the food processor.

I had done a search and they say you can do it any way, but was wondering how other people do it and the results.
I guess this means I can just chop and freeze without worry.

Thanks

The best way is to make it into a strawberry rhubarb pie, cover the made pies with plastic freezing wrap; that one extra pie that won't fit into the freezer send to me for quality control.

Oh, that was the step I was missing - thanks PaulF

ROFL I'll take one too. ;)

Actually rhubarb and strawberries are fresh at the markets right now. I should make a strawberry rhubarb pie.
