Thanks!

MdTNGrdner I sell a lot of them and keep a bag or two for myself here and there. I like to store them by sauteing in olive oil and freezing. They come out of the freezer tasting just as good as when they went in.

imp, they have a delicate, mild flavor - yet still taste like a mushroom. They retain a meaty texture when cooked. The smell of fresh Oyster Mushrooms before cooking is a sweet, mushroomy anise-like smell. I love how they smell. They're excellent in any dish or just great as a side when sauteed in butter and garlic or your favorite seasoning,

Here are a couple of other shots of Oysters. They've really been on a kick the last couple of days.

The more the better!!!

Randall, I can't figure out what that is in the left foreground. It kind of looks like a lemon cucumber but if you put cukes in your salsa that's a new one for me!
Your pictures are always so nice, it's a great thread!

Thanks all. We added a Ghost finely chopped in the food processor at the end and a Vidalia Onion.

That is a Silverline Melon. A Korean melon.

We were just snacking on it! It might make the salsa sweet, though.

Finished mulching out a bed of Dwarf Snow Peas for Fall just before it started getting dark.

Little Marvel? I need to plant my peas. Looing great Randall.

This is Burpee's Snowbird.

It's really easy to deal with at 16-18 inches tall and yields well if you keep it fed.
what are the raspberries in the cups?
I wish I knew! They were a red raspberry my neighbors had in their yard. Seems to fruit in the Spring and Fall but that's all I know :(

ahhh. I have a start that I got at TSC. supposed to be yellow. not even close. but I keep spreading it to the next row as it is the nicest and best red berry I have found so far.

This little adventure with Raspberries has kind of sparked my interest. I may buy a start or two for Spring, also.

The peas are moving fast. I bet I'll pick a few this evening.
