cutworms and peas ?

There are a lot of cutworms in the garden this year and for the first time they are cutting a few of the peas. Anyone else have this happen ?

I will look tomorrow (It's dark here now) It seems like it's taking them forever to flower this year. It is my first time to grow the variety Sugar Snap.

No, I dont have cut worms .
Stick a nail next to the stem. Even a tooth pick might work.

I hear cutworms love peas and favas. This is my first year planting peas and favas. :o

I've been saving up toilet paper tubes all winter to use as collars.

I just have my peas coming up, new soil mix so no problems with cutworm so far. I have found two cutworms in my onions though.

It looks like cutworms could have gotten some of ours. There are gaps with missing plants.

I use small sticks next to my tomato stems, never have a problem with cutworms. This pea cutting is new.
