Help!!

This is my second attempt to grow potatoes. I really know nothing about it. I ordered seed potatoes and they are all sprouting really well. The problem is it has been so wet here, I haven't been able to plant them. They're getting all shriveled and I don't know what to do. The forecast is calling for rain for another week. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

You could try grow bags -- purchased, garbage bags, bins, etc. While the claims of massive yields are unsubstantiated, they should suffice for emergency planting. A search on potato bins and/or grow bags will get you started.

Probably a raised bed or container/bag with good drainage will be ok. I went ahead and planted in between rainy days after 3 days of sun. So far is going well. I got another few seeds to plant but this week is rain in the forecast for the whole week, so probably next weekend I finish planting.

The seed tubers will last. I had some sitting out for several months. shriveling over a few weeks won't matter. Some I just planted had sprouts 5-6 inches long.

Yep. Don't sweat it they'll grow fine when you eventually get to plant them.

I have planted now 32 pots, inexpensive nursery pots, because I have been unable to till do to this never ending rain. The nursery / greenhouse near us had a large pile of empty pots in an area next to the green house. I asked to buy them and they just gave them away as they don't reuse them. I grabbed all the largest ones and have planted mostly on plant, started from TPS, in each pot.
