Matt's are one of my favorite varieties.:goofy:

The only negative about MWC is that when you remove the stems, they seem to be "glued" to the skin of the fruit and the skin rips a bit.
Anyone figured out how to get around this??? |
I found that the key is to bend the stem backwards at the joint just above where the stem attaches to the fruit. If you try to harvest just the fruits without any stem, most often the skin tears.
Judging by his photo, Gnome does the same thing.
The only negative about MWC is that when you remove the stems, they seem to be "glued" to the skin of the fruit and the skin rips a bit. Anyone figured out how to get around this???
|
Those look sooo yummy! :D
Ted, my Sungolds and Black Cherries do that too! Actually, I think most of my cherries do that. I use Kath's trick as well. Taryn |
