Purple Spots & Other Leaf Issues

2 Attachment(s)
Hey All

I have a Giant Belgian Pink tomato plant (in a 15 gallon fabric pot w/irrigation tubing) that is having leaf issues.
It’s got tomatoes growing & new ones forming but the bottom leaves are
starting to show problems. Purple spots & that frightening “water mark-ish”
appearance. It looks like maybe there are 2 things going on but I have no idea
what they are.
We have had some seriously jacked-up weather here in SE Louisiana this spring-5 straight days of rain, then hot & dry—then more rain (& high winds).
I’m spraying weekly with Daconil & alternating with copper or mancozeb, but I’m thinking it’s just been to much rain to avoid cooties!:(

The other 3 plants (Cherokee P., GGWT & L. Sunset) are fine—same grow bags, same potting mixture & same fertilizer.

Both are nutrient deficiency, phosphorous/magnesium, stuff like that. Nothing concerning yet.

Hello Zipcode,
I don't think you need more support, KarenO is a much more experienced authority on that, but I fully agree with you. Phosphorus in the first picture and magnesium in the other. As long as the plants are doing well overall, nothing much to worry about. Maybe something with chelated magnesium and increased content of P could help get rid of that. Myself, I'd do nothing.

Below is a link with pictures to compare with your plant leaves including nutrient deficiencies.
