Kpakpo★★★★o pepper from Ghana
 

Has anyone grown this? Kpakpo s h ito - sorry, the editor blocks part of the name! A small, blocky, medium-hot green pepper that reportedly never turns red. Used for the green pepper sauce that is ubiquitous.

I am currently on the Volta River in Ghana, and will try to find some seed specimens.

Interesting looking. I think they are picked very immature. Some are saying it's a variety of scotch bonnet.

I've never grown it, but I want to see!

Reminds me of this young lady's shop in Nigeria.

I'm curious as to all the other veges/fruit in that picture if you know or were told what they are....

Now have some K p a k p o s h i t o peppers growing in Atlanta!

Nice, would love to know how they taste. I have pretty much given up on hot peppers now :(
Medium hot as in a habanero or more like a cayenne?

More like a cayenne. You can snack on them raw, or make them into a pepper salsa like they do in Ghana. Tolerable heat, slightly citrusy.
