Chinese Purple
I have two Chinese Purple plants growing for the first time this year. Both plants and fruit (size) are identical. However, one plant produced fruit that is definitely pink and the other is a nice purple.
Is there a pink variety as well? In every other aspect, the plants are identical. Pink or purple, these are great! Thanks. |
Glad to hear of your experience. I always grow "Chinese Purple" every tomato season here in south Florida. Never had PINK tomatoes though. You have any pictures? Hope all is well in your area. :)

No, no pics. I'm going to save seed from both and label the dark one as Chinese Purple and the other as a "mystery." Both plants are producing very well!
Thanks, tho, for the well wishes. |
I just saw that Tatiana posted she got "pink" and not "purple" from this plant, as well. I was unable to access that info this summer due to her site being down.
Good to know I am not the only one! |
