Sugar Snap Peas in Southern Calfornia

Hello, can someone tell me what is the sweetest variety of Sugar Snaps? When should I plant? How much sun do they require? Any info is appreciated!

Hi the ones that I have are Super Sugar Snap Peas, my dw really liked them most of them don't make it to the house. Funny thing is I planted some seeds today will plant more in 2 weeks. Mine are in full sun along the chain link fence. Mike

I have tried different varieties with not much success. I live in the San Gabriel Valley and even in self-watering containers, it gets too hot during "spring planting" of March, April. I'm going to give them a shot in mid sept when the average drops to the 80s.

Another vote for Super Sugar Snap. They're great.
