Placed an order with Lazy Ox today for some ! :D

I received a seed order from Lazy Ox Farms a few days ago. Joe's Pink Oxheart was among them. It's one of the most anticipated varieties that I plan on growing this upcoming season.

I specifically ordered from Lazy Ox Farms to get this variety. Service was quick and efficient. Also found some other seeds I had on my Wishlist! Really looking forward to this tomato! Only two months to go before I can start germinating them! Can't wait for this miserable cold winter to end!

I ordered from Lazy Ox for this one as well as Eve's Purple Ball x Big Beef. Now I only have 2 slots left.

Did their online store just close temporarily this week or is a computer issue on my end? I have already received Joe's Pink a few months back, but was interested in the EPBxBB.

The store reads "closed" at the bottom and none of the front page photos are displaying?

Gardadore January 8, 2014 08:53 AM

It appears to be temporary as it reads Closed for Maintenance on my computer. I see that last year he updated it on Jan. 16, 2013 so perhaps that is what he is doing at the moment.

You can still order from her through localharvest.org.

I ran into the same message and also thought it possible that they were updating their website.

Somewhere on their website they also mention their 'store' at localharvest -- for increased payment options, I believe, but I don't remember for sure.

FWIW, the Lazy Ox store at localharvest is at

Apparently we had the same thought, Dutch.

FWIW, your link with the suffix and the shorter form I posted display the same page for me . . . don't know if both would work for everyone or not, so thought I might as well leave the shorter form posted as well as yours.

Don't use the link. just goto www.lazyoxfarm.com It Works

I see their current best seller is the Eva Purple Ball X Big Beef. I plan to grow this one in 2014. It sounds like a good one.
Maybe those of us that grow it can come up with a good name to suggest for it.

Still closed. Open Harvest link above is open.
