Where can I get Wild Maine Blueberry Bushes?

I know NJ is a great state for growing blueberries, and we do have varieties that do well here, but I just love wild Maine Blueberries. Does anyone know a nursery that sells them? I've searched the internet far and wide and at least in my searches, couldn't find anyone selling them.

Antoinette,
Check out Fedco in ME.
I believe what you are looking for is "Lowbush"as a wild ME blueberry.

Another thought might be "Friendship" blueberry. It is a half high with small fruit loaded with flavor. Popular around here. A little easier on your back too!

I have Friendship (along with about 50 other varieties), an excellent, flavorful blueberry.

I also have wild "low sweet" blueberries (Vaccinium angustifolium), which is the main Maine crop. There isn't anything that matches the sweetness of these.

Tormato:

Can you recommend a supplier/nursery in MA.... not finding any of the Friendship variety locally.

Thanks

Michael

I don't think I saw any sources in MA for this variety in the above Google link, but many places to order bushes from.

And some good info on the background of this variety as well.
