Brandy Boy F3 (Warning: May Cause Rash)

The seed for this BB F3 came from a fellow in Connecticut who goes by John11840 at GW.

This shot is a little closer ... I'm trying to show how few seeds are in this tomato.

There just aren't a lot of seeds in this tomato.

Here is another tomato cut up a different way to show very small cells and few seeds ... well, this isn't the entire tomato ... I ate a few wedges.

Thank you, John. These tomatoes are from the best plant of the F2s and F3s I set out from your seed, and the only one I'm saving seeds from this year. I have some of your F2 and F3 seeds left to start next year with the seeds from these tomatoes.

Awesome looking tomatoes you have there, PV - very meaty and healthy. I bet they taste delicious!

Reading your post, and noting that you mention you have F2, F3 and the upcoming F4 seed from these fruits, I couldn't help but think to myself...

...do you think it might be worthwhile to crossbreed the F2, F3, and even F4 with each other to see what comes out?

Just a thought.

Oh, and you're right, looking at those pics DID cause a rash.. and it looks like the only way of treating it is if I get ahold of some of that F4 seed ;););)

I'm curious what the status of this project is for you..any news?

I'm certain this project is still going!
Seeds were saved from the strongest plant. Also the flavor of the mater is described as just the right amount of tartness ... Sounds good to me !
