Heartbreaker
 

Here’s a couple of pictures of a fairly new dwarf tomato called “Heartbreaker” .
Its new to me I think it came out last year over here it seems to be better than another dwarf one I grow “Sweet and Neat”.

What an attractive grouping of pots - and that looks like a very productive plant. Have you had a chance to taste yet? How does it rate?

That's a very beautiful looking tomato variety spannerwiz....

Much more lush and ornamental in my opinion than the "Sweet and Neat" tomato variety. I'm growing a few of them this season, not as productive as that "Heartbreaker" variety that's for sure.

Where did you purchase the seeds from?

Lovely shots! Those tomato pots would work great as ornamentals, even if the tomatoes should turn out not so tasty.

I purchased them from a discount store pretty late in the season ,april time, then done a little research on them. Have managed to grab a few seeds for next year from the same place as they don’t seem to appear in any major seed house catalogues in the UK , but they are available for a place in Anglesey ( An island of the coast North Wales where Prince William flies his search and rescue helicopter from ).
The flavour is very good the grandchildren ( 3yrs & 6yrs ) like picking them and eating them , so they must be good .

At first I didn't see the F1 but there's another one called Heartbreaker, an OP, and Clara in Germany sent me seeds for it, seeds from Estonia. I'm too lazy to go fetch the seed pack where the anglicized Russian name is written.

If all goes well I expect to offer seeds of the OP Heartbreaker in my next seed offer.

Those look great indeed.
I see this in a lot of shops in Germany, including physical shops, but I never gave it much attention.
It's called Heatbreakers Vita there.
You really should get a taste and report back :yes:.
Have you grown tomatoberry as well maybe? (another kinda heart shaped cherry)

[FONT=&quot]Yes I have grown “Tomatoberry”that was last year in a polytunnel, but last was very wet in the UK ( wettest summer for a 100 years I read some where ) ,so the blight was horrendous everything suffered uncover and outside, we always get blight but not till autumn (fall) last year it was july .The only plant that came through it was “Loseto”a rather vigorous cherry bush .[/FONT]

The seed is now available from Suttons Seeds ( UK ) .
At the end of the season they out performed " Sweet and Neat " in every way, the taste was far superior , the fruit didnt split and there was more fruit on the same size plants .

Tomato Heartbreaker Vita is assessed wrong between Czech growers. The high cost of seeds (3,89 euro per 10 seeds) and not interesting flavour.

That sounds fantastic Carolyn, I'm looking for something to replace Red Robin for my windowsill containers next winter. My saved (3 year old) R.R. seeds refuse to germinate and the new, replacement ones aren't in any hurry to germinate either. Boo Hoo!

Linda, the OP Heartbreaker seeds that Clara sent me are small hearts, indet, etc., and nothing like what was pictured here as Heartbreaker Vita.

Right now it isn't clear to me if I will have those OP Heartbreaker seeds to offer in my next seed offer.

Kept a few tomatoes for seed from last seasons crop grew this one through the winter on my kitchen window sill from september sowing
