Sub-Irrigated Air Pruning Automatic Watering Planter Greenhouse
1 Attachment(s)
The framing for the sub-irrigated, air pruning, self watering beds is installed. Finished installing the wire fencing and landscaping cloth. The beds will have 12 inches of potting soil and four inches of wood chips. I will install and plumb the four inch perforated drain pipe with the float valve, after I move the greenhouse into place. I am installing a garage sale sink that has been looking for a home. The doors and rollup sides will have to wait for awhile.

Very nice i might just have to try that design for the winter maters. I also like the sink that drains right back into the water system....no water lost on washing veggies. Good job.

Framed the doors and one side bench with repurposed lumber from an unused raised bed. That's why the green paint. Replaced the cable ties with hog rings to fasten the cattle panels together. The center ridgepole is used to attach the rollup sides

Superb! Is this your own design? How are you going to move it? Very nice work!

The original design was from TexasPrepper2. I added the floor beds with the sub-irrigated air pruning automatic watering. I also made the sides rollup. I made one last year also.

The greenhouse isn't very heavy or hard to move. I've been moving it in the barn without much trouble. I plan on using ropes and my lawn tractor to move it to it's location next to the first greenhouse. Maybe a pry bar to position it next to the other one.

Really nice work, I love the SIP's.

Here's a short video showing how the greenhouse floor beds are watered.
