Plant sizes – which of these grow smallish/huge?
I have more plants than room to plant (even with the previously mentioned new bed). Guess I started too much seed...
Anyhow – I'm now trying to best decide how to get 10lbs of cr@p in a 5lb bag. Not gonna crowd them too much. But it would help to know which of the below listed varieties grow on the smaller side and which require more room. Also the bed runs North/South. I'd like to put the real climbers at the North end so they don't shade the shorties.

Brandywine Sudduth (from Sand Hill)
Stupice
Kanner Hoel (from Sand Hill)
Brandywine Red
Matina
Tibet Apple
Traveler (from Sand Hill)
Thanks in advance... |
Brandy wine sudduth gets huge for me.
Stupice is average sized(probably 6 feet by the end of the season. The others I have not grown |
Brandywine Red is a pretty large plant, at least it was for me last year which was the first time I grew it. Probably of the same order as Bandywine Sudduth.
|
Matina is a big plant that bears early and keeps bearing a lot all season long.
|
Tibet Appel is a determinate, so it should not get all that
big. Stupice only gets to 4-5 feet for me, but they are often 4 feet wide in all directions, too. |
Perfect. Thanks all.
