relikvia iz ussuriyska info needed.
i am hoping andrey sees this one.
i posted some time ago for info on this one from carolyns second from last seed offer. shawns spread sheet said it was a red family heirloom from russia. mine was orange. very productive, good tasting, fruit size was maybe 6 to 8oz. no complaints, just curious. keith |
This variety is a family heirloom from Ussuriysk city (Russian Far East). They have been growing it for ages.
Midseason , indet. RL, 200-400 g fruit 3-6 per truss, no cracking, excellent old-fashion tomato flavour and a very good yield. The color is bright red-orange. Very meaty fruit, few seeds. We call this fruit shape a bomb-like. Usually very healthy plants with thick stem. Great variety indeed. thanks andrey,
must be a mix up somewhere. mine was orange, with a good number of seeds. a decent tomato, just don't know what. keith |
Keith, have you any pics of your orange fruit?
|
nope, never took any.
keith |
The color is close to orange here. How about the shape of your fruit?
|
mine were uniform pretty much round globes.
color was ORANGE, no mistaking for red. your picture andrey looks like they could be heart shaped? or at least somewhat elongated. higher shoulders. keith |
