Odd growth

Hello everyone. So, some of my tomatoes are showing some odd growth. The plants are otherwise healthy though some blossom problems have begun to show. I feel I can rule out insect and herbicide damage. I'm getting sort of a cupped twisting growth with a purple tint. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on what this problem exactly is. I'll need to upload photos on my pc shortly

Let it grow a little and bring us more pics.
Looks like it could be cobra heads which indicate herbicide damage.
Serrated edges thats another sign.
CP is extremely sensitive.
Unfortunately going through this myself now.

I'm using a *blushes* chemical fertilizer, and organic pro mix. Could it be my pro mix? I live in a national park so I do believe there are restrictions on herbacide usage. Is there a way to combat herbacide damage? Flushing the soil well? Or am I basically hoping to produce as a few fruits and then throw the soil in the dumpster?

The color of foliage in the pictures tell me that possibly they are getting too much nitrogen, a lot of sun, maybe not enough water ?!.
But also some varieties tend to have darker green foliage, purplish leaf stems. I have an Indigo Rose that looks that way. .

Using a 10-10-15 fertilizer, too much sun maybe? There is a tree that will shade for most of the day on the lot.

Sounds like herbicide damage may not be so likely.
Dont freak out.
Keep them growing.
See what happens.
Lots of sun is good.
Where are the plants getting their micronutrients from?

Sublimehaze June 25, 2015 06:51 PM

The fertilizer has micronutrients or so it says. Thinking about switching it up next time I make it to Hinton. Any recommendations? I've been thinking it could be a calcium/iron deficiency maybe?
