Here's a pic of a lizard that it came in my patio I see them in my yard for the last two years. This is not your common anole. They seem to dig hole and live under ground. There are bigger one in my yard.

We got lots of salamanders that probably are of the same family. They are gardeners friends.

Now that I am at home and see it on my computer and not on my phone it is not an alligator lizard.
We or at least I have Texas alligator lizards and Texas spiny lizards.
I have more kinds of lizards than I can even identify.
It is like Jurassic park around here.
It isn't uncommon to have 20 or more run across the driveway in the summer as I come pulling up.:lol:
They are 6 lined race runners.
I have just about every one of the lizards on this list around my garden and house.
There is even a cave under the driveway they hang out in.
