Dark Star hybrid
 

Just wondering if anyone has grown the hybrid Dark Star. The descriptions of the variety sounds good, but don't they all.:)

I've been wondering about that one, also. I noticed that Seeds 'n Such carries it, so not too expensive to try it. "...But don't they all.". :yes:

"But don't they all"! For fun, I've been reading catalog descriptions to my nongardening partner. The only problem is that I start to think, sure, I can fit that one in.

I put in an order to Seeds'n'Such last year mostly to get Purple Boy F1, which I'd tasted from a neighbor's garden the year before and liked (without knowing it was a hybrid). And then I ended up finding another dozen or so varieties I wanted to try. Looks like the same thing might happen this year: I went looking for one thing and ended up finding a bunch more.
