blackberries -- little white worms

So yesterday, just after I'd eaten my breakfast of oats and lots of blackberries, someone at the community garden told me that someone else had little white worms in her blackberries.

I looked at my blackberries today, and sure enough, little white worms squirming around the core of the berries.

Only 1-2 worms per berry (that I saw), and not in every berry, but still....

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Should I eat them anyway? Compost them? What?
(I know all about google searches, but my aged computer and slow connection won't connect to any of the pages that might have info. So until I can get to another computer, I thought I'd ask here.)

Might be Western Raspberry(Blackberry) Fruitworm.

Thanks, but nothing in that reference or in my books looks like what I'm seeing. They're tiny and thready -- possibly an immature version of fruitworms? or maybe not an economic pest, so not covered in the standard references? Just a macro version of the microbes that are squirming through all the food we eat?

The only place I've found that describes what I'm seeing is this, back from 2004:
