Heirloom Seeds
I thought I would give a plug to a company that I have had good experience with...
Heirloomseeds.com I have ordered from them three times and have always received my order within 7-10 days. Good packaging and good germination rates. Nice selection of tomatoes and other vegies. Adenn1 |
They do have a great selection of veggies. I also like them.
|
I have always had excellent service from them.
|
The great thing for me was the price and the seeds got here way before I expected them to arrive and of course free bonus seeds (I'd been thinking of trying Rutgers anyway :)).
|
Best prices and I've never had an order messed up. Their selection is also pretty extensive.

I have always had great experience with correct orders, quick shipping etc. They are one of my top 5 seed sompanies and will continue to be,.

so am I under the impression
that (so far) all the varieties they sell come "true" ? ~ Tom |
Every variety I have grown out has come true. :)
|
Oh - thats great news ~
Tom ps. your seeds we out finally ... wow what a story about your mail ! |
Excellent selection & germination, and reasonable prices. I will definitely order from them again.
|
Thanks Tom, I cant wait to see the pics of that poor poor package...:)
|
I echo all the sentiments shared so far. Great selection, low prices, great service.
|
Ditto here, One of my personal favorites.
|
I really can't say enough about this company...I placed an order on March 7th and it arrived yesterday...the 12th. Now they are here in Pennsylvania...but that is still great service. They have very fair prices and I have always been pleased with seed germination and such.

So why aren't they on the seed link list?

I thought you were still in the land of the midnight sun...walking the desolate, frozen tundra?   Let's see what a few more members have to say. |
The're on the seed link list under "Tomato Patch".
|
To answer someones question that wasted a bit ago, no, they have sold seeds not correct for the variety, but not many and I know of NO company that deals with OP seed that has a perfect record.
Listed under Tomato Patch eh? I'll have to check that out. They do have two websites last I knew, one for all that they sell and one just for tomatoes. I've known Tom Hauch, the owner, for many many years. |
I see they do now, but I can't find a direct link to the other site.
You have to type it in and search. Worth |
Heirloom Seeds now has a direct link in the list of vendors...I asked Mischka to add it and he kindly did. I did not notice that their tomato-only site was listed under "The Tomato Patch."
|
Another successful order from Heirloom Seeds. Placed order on 01/29/07 and arrived 02/04/07. Now, I am in the same state...but still good service in my opinion.
Have always had good germination rates with seeds purchased. Can't go wrong with this company. |
Has anyone ordered from them lately? They were one of my favorite companies when heirlooms were coming on the scene. Back in those days there was not the options of ordering heirlooms like there is now. I checked on Garden Watch Dog and I am disappointed, but the reviews are old. I did try to order from Heirloom Seeds a few years ago and they were not taking orders because they were catching up.

I have not ordered from them in a long time. Their website looks at lot nicer now with
pictures. Prices are very reasonable. |
I ordered from them a month ago. I had good service. The seeds were well packed and had good info on them. Of course I do not know yet if the seeds come true, but everything was fine and I see no reason not to order from them.
