I can attest to this thing working. Everything on the firing side of this sprinkler/noisemaker stays away. This device has pass thru connections and switched connections so you can string a couple of impact sprinklers to it. I have deer, wild turkeys, woodchucks and rabbits on that side staying away. It is the vermin coming in from the front of the house that are ruining me.

The 'alarm' is not waterproof but I just put it under a 50¢ laundry basket and move it around to surprise the little pests. HF had it on sale for Memorial day @ $9.99.

Way to many developers around here clear-cutting living areas and driving the animals to the older houses here with larger, semi wooded & forested lots. I might have to circle the yard with these.

I think the last time I looked at pellet rifles was 30 years ago.
They have came a long way with the spring piston guns.

I sure would be tempted to politely , quietly , resolve this with the deer and reach an understanding..LOL.. these would be secret negotiations...LOL..that would be self evidently successful.....as no deer would be seen in the area till next season.

I think that Ruger is probably a great air rifle. Worth, how far away from the house is your garden? And that sprinkler system looks pretty sweet. I am thinking a cannon loaded with lawn darts.

I haven't made my mind up yet on and air rifle.
My garden is about 20 yards from the house.

I just watched a YouTube vid on the Yukon and at 20 yds held a 5 shot group about the size of a quarter. It shot RWS pellets the best but only shot well below the 1,050 fps advertised shooting more around 700-800 fps. Still with .22 cal that should serve its intended purpose.

I'm looking at something besides the Yukon It is one of the Gamo rifles.
This one in particular with a gas piston in 22 caliber.

I have a .177 Gamo springer and while it shoot hard, it isn't very accurate nor quiet. Once you break the sound barrier all kinds of bad things happen. With the suppressor on the one you are looking at it should be much more quiet, plus the springer jump when shot is hard on accuracy. I would think that would not be a problem with the one you are looking at.

I want to break the sound barrier and it is why I might end up getting a 177.
When people get used to the noise then I will go up to my 22 magnum.:twisted:
People really dont complain about guns going off around here anyway they are always opening up with semi auto pistols.

I am going to set up a rest in my driveway and shot targets about a 100 yards off.

I have an air rifle that shoots pellets and has a really nice scope. My husband put it together to shoot dove in Mesa,AZ when they were eating tons and tons of chicken feed. It makes hardly a noise and is quite deadly.
If you want a little more noise,less deadly,maybe a shotgun with rock salt?
