Few cucumbers are growing deformed like curved or bottle shape, any idea why? Possiblr nutrient overdose or under nurished?
|
I get curved cukes when they don't hang freely. If they catch on the trellis or the ground, then they don't grow straight. For the bottle-shaped ones, I'm not sure, maybe moisture inconsistency?
|
Lack of proper pollination makes this happen I think.

Pointy ends are calcium deficiency, pillow fruits or big bottoms are potassium deficiency.

Welcome, Mohanurs -- I'll be looking forward to following your threads with great interest.
Your research and hopefully very successful application of your ideas obviously will be very important to much -- probably MOST -- of the people in the world. Kudos to you! |
