A few update shots
|
Very nice! I'm in 6a, but no scapes yet...
|
Thanks!
Right on. Those were the first long enough to cut. They kind of surprised me! |

Thanks! In that shot is Brandy Boy (row of 10 plants). First time I've grown it out but after all of the reviews I broke down and gave it a try. The row directly beside it is Brandywine (Sudduth) and over from there is Rebel Yell. Other rows not shown are Black Star, Black Berry, Indian Stripe, Orange Jazz, Lucid Gem and GGWT. There are a couple of random Stump of the World and Romeo Plants also. And now that I just realized you were probably asking about the fruits - that's GGWT - It was my first tomato to set this season. There are a lot of smaller ones of other varieties but GGWT is a bit ahead of them! lol :) |
Beautiful fruits you have there Randall!!!
|
Thank, ya!

Lucid Gem setting its first fruits!

Your gardens look beautiful. Great shots of the tomatoes and the cole crops. I see that you have recruited a nice worker too.
Nice job. |

Thank ya, MissS!
Here's a peek at the tomato patch. The sun just went down and there's a light drizzle out here. |

Few more shots. Kind of random.

Hi Randall- your garden is simply fantastic. Where are you located? I'm in growing zone 6A and just got my garden planted this last week-end. I wait until the ground is good and warm so the plants don't get shocked from cold soil. Keep up the good work.

Love the cat, LOL, on sentry duty!
|
Yeah, great cat shot!! And what a place of bounty!!

Thanks, all! That cat loves to be up high like that!
@DRTOMATO I'm in WV A few more. The tomatoes are Lucid Gem, Brandy Boy and GGWT |
Everything looks fantastic.

I enjoy your beautiful work Randall. The tomato pics beautifully demonstrate good pole and prune techniques with bare stem up to the cluster then split out to 2 or 3 stems. Those first cluster sets look strong.
|
All very lovely. The morels looked delicious enough to eat...
I had a pink-blossomed starwberry last year, but the flavor was not too good, I wonder if they always are more like an ornamental variety. Hope yours taste good too! Yes, those greens... could make anyone green with envy ;) |
Paradise... made by your hand. :D8-)
|
Awesome garden randall
|
Gorgeous garden Randall!!! Whereabouts in WV? I'm from Nitro (Charleston area).
|
Oh, gosh.
Thanks a lot everyone. I truly appreciate it. It seems like a constant learning curve. I'm mostly just copying what I've seen others here do. I can say most of what I've learned came from Tville. @Spartangurg123 - I'm West and Central |

Thanks, MissS!
Some of the first garlic out. I would love to give it about 4 days but there are serious rains coming for the next several days, so I'm going to pull it all tommorow. Still plenty of bigguns in there :) A little of each of Music and Majestic |
All I can say is Wow!
Beautiful garden. (Where's the drool emoji?!)
Thank you for sharing your pics. |
Is the goose real?
Is the goose real?
Worth
Real heavy! It's made out of cement so it doesn't eat much. I swear every time I move it, it feels like it's gained weight. :)) |
Beautiful garden! The asparagus looks amazing! I have a large cement gnome, so I know what you mean about the weight. I'm only able to move it with a dolly.
|
Awesome looking garden.
