I assume it is okay to take tomato seeds across the border but I am not sure.
You could always swallow the seeds before crossing, sort of a tomato mule - no different than eating a salad with garden tomato slices for lunch before heading North . . .:?::lol::yes: |
Fuego Verde is actually more like a elongated saladette tomato. Not dry.
Oh, and for anyone trying to read about Fuego Verde via links in this thread -- our website has been down today. Someone (me) didn't pay domain fees, I guess. Hopefully everything will be back up soon.
Hi Fred Is the Fuego Verde a dry tomato? I ask because I'm switching all my plants to drier paste or very meaty tomatoes, except for the cherries. Green would be great to have as a paste. Also interested in the cherry roma of course. I'm not ok without sending something back to you though. I saw the cost of postage for the last offer. Please pm an email I can send funds to through paypal. I would really prefer to not send cash through the post, but if you leave me no choice.......I may just have to do that.
|
Good idea, Oakley, I'll wait for you then.
I have some cool season seeds to share for sure. Let us know when you want to do trade.
Another option Canadian friends...I have a home in Canada and will do a seed offer next trip before I travel. I have a couple lidded crates in the guest room collecting odds and ends that need to go up....including coin envelopes. I have many Artisan varieties as well as Bakers Creek, Wild Boar Farms, etc. that I have purchased the past couple years. Close to 200 varieties. 2018 season I may be gardening the full growing season in Canada so some of you may have some good hearty cold season crop ideas for a trade. Just a thought.
|
Fuego verde
it sounds awesome! I sent email requesting seeds and no response... please let me know if it is not available anymore |
Good morning! This sounds like a terriffic offer. Based on what I'm seeing in the thread, it would appear that we're still under to 30 offers limit, is this true? If so, could you count me in? I'll send my info in a message.
Thanks! |
Update: Still room for 15 more people. PM address to get on list.
|
All seeds went out yesterday.
I still have 14 left. PM me if interested. |
Thank you Fred...seeds arrived in Anchorage, AK today. It was a nice offer.

Is there a particular hybrid project you are interested in?
