I never could understand why my neighbors with a relatively new nice house has the washer and dryer in the garage.

Must be a man thing or something that doesn't do laundry.
No one in their right mind would want to go out and do laundry in 100 plus degree heat in the summer.

I love it too, and the fact that it has actual hallways, haha! I'm not a fan of the open floorplans that have been so popular the past decade or so. It is big - about 1800 square feet!

Boy, you're not kidding! We rented a duplex once that had the washer and dryer in the garage and it was miserable out there year round, not to mention the fact that I think our neighbors had someone living in their garage since I could often hear snoring when I went out there. My mom's washer and dryer are in the garage, too. Just really poor design. :no:

I love hallways lol. The open floor plan is not for me either. All the new houses around here are exactly the same, we went with older just to get some character. Good luck and I hope you love it! Also love your hair!

Thank you, I haven't dyed my hair since July 2015 so that's how it grows out of my head! :) Never thought I'd be happy to have a head of grey hair at 28. :lol:

I've enjoyed reading how you gingerly treated each plant in your small garden. Great news that you will be able to expand your love of gardening. Congrats on the new job too.

If you can find time and money, stockpile a few tools (and end of season plants)when they go on sale. Its a big change (expensive) coming from an apartment.

Thanks! It's not my own pattern/design, and there are flaws that only I know about but judges could see, but it's something to think about! :yes:

Thank you! It's easy to baby each plant when you've got just one of each in such a small space, haha. It's been a great learning experience and I think we'll have a good chance at a successful garden in a larger space because of it. Might do some fall gardening, might just wait till next Spring, who knows. There's a bunch of gardening tools in the garage and the shed in the backyard that we're inheriting, luckily, so I think we're set for now. Plus, my in-laws live about 10 minutes away so we can always borrow from them if we're not able to purchase something. Thanks for the tips! :cute:
