Really interesting thread! My husband is liking hotter and hotter salsa so I am looking to learn more about the pepper varieties.

Very nice peppers. In the straight diatomite how are you fertilizing?

I apply soluble ferts one every 3-5 waterings.

[I]C. chinense[/I] 'Pimenta Moranga'
[I]C. baccatum[/I] 'Rain Forest'

Alfredo I'm a bit lazy, haven't counted them till now:oops: I expect them to be around 20 maybe more :?

Just counted all the chillis scattered around the house.32 in total!

This shot was taken today.[I]Capsicum rhomboideum[/I] has many ripe pods now:D

I had to look up [I]Capsicum rhomboideum because I'd never heard of it. It's a nice looking plant. Have you grown it before and how do you use the fruit?

This is a 2 years old overwintered plant.Pods are ridiculously small, just a few milimetres wide!I'm eating them out of hand as a curiosity.
